Job Description

Profile : EBI was established in 1991 by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to act as its official training arm with a vision to be the preferred partner for developing the human capital of the banking ecosystem in Egypt, and the lighthouse for banking sector development across strategic African and Arab countries, through mirroring the latest international banking trends.


Crowning the continuous efforts to adhere to international quality standards, in 2009 EBI was the first accredited financial training institute in Egypt and MENA region by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) for five years. EBI succeeded in obtaining the reaccreditation for two more terms – five years each - ending in 2024. In addition to this, EBI’s Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) instructional methodology has been also accredited by ACCET in 2021.


We are looking for “HR Advisor” with a Bachelor degree in Human resources, Business administration, or related field such as labor relations and minimum 10 years of experience in the HR advisory/HR roles in prominent banks


- Job Responsibilities :


- Support HR at clients, and indirectly the Head of Business, by providing market trend, benchmarking roles and skills available, and by supporting the capability planning.


- Support the relationship with clients, being a cornerstone for building a trusted relationship with clients.


- Answer all human resources queries posed by clients' HR management.


- Assist clients in the development of their human capital, sharing market intelligence on trends.


- Train and advise HR managers on strategies for recruitment, selection, and interview evaluation procedures.


- Provide inputs on employee appraisal system, making recommendations (if necessary).


- Offer feedback on HR policies in line with latest legislation.


- Own P&L for assigned client portfolio, and meet budget objectives.


- Adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance operating procedures.


Skills & Knowledge :


- Excellent communication and intrapersonal skills.


- Proven leadership ability.


- Working experience in/with financial institutions.


- Knowledge of Egyptian banking sector and employment legislation.


- Awareness of emerging financial topics (e.g., cyber risk).


- Experience in servicing senior counterparties and building trusted relationships.


- Understanding of risk management, and of working within a compliant environment.


- Pro-active and self-motivated.


- Good administrative and organizational skills.


- Proficiency in English and Arabic (French is a plus).
