- Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve complex network and services issues
- Maintain internal network structure of a Data Center by managing switches & routers and keeping them running.
- Install, configure, and maintain Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi.
- Troubleshoot network systems to identify and fix performance issues
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of network administration and firmware integration
- Monitor the environmental conditions of a Data Center to ensure they are optimum for switches, routers, and other devices
- Perform system repairs and update software/operating systems
- Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a Data Center.
- Handle Day-to-Day operation mails, and Tickets.
- Job Requirements :
- Minimum one year of work experience in a similar field. LAN/WAN/ Wireless Technologies.
- Routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP.
- Switching. (STP – VRRP – HSRP – VSS).
- Cisco, Juniper, Aruba technologies.
- Reverse engineering and troubleshooting.
- Network scripting/automation (e.g., Python). Is a plus.
- Data Centre Technologies (VCF - Fabric Path - ACI - NSX - VPC). Is a plus.
- Education & certification :
- Bachelor’s degree in any of computer science, computer systems engineering, electronic engineering, and other related disciplines.
- Cisco CCNA is a must.
