Job Description
El Marakby Steel is hiring a HSE Engineer with the below Qualifications Main Duties and Responsibility
• Administration of health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Implement programs, technical guidance and maintain appropriate level of awareness to identify and remove physical, chemical &
biological hazards and potential risk from the operations’ sites.
• Review & develop the risk assessment for all specific jobs inside the plant for routine and non-routine jobs and ensure the implementation
of the risk controls.
• Conduct safety & health needed training programs for all plant employees and supervisors. Cascade a culture that prioritizes effective HSE
and reduces overall associated risks and costs.
• Report accidents consisting of fatalities, lost working day cases, and first-aid cases requiring medical treatment. Keep management
informed of findings and implement corrective actions related to incident and ensure lessons learned are communicated throughout the
company and are understood a.
• Develop and maintain accidents and incidents investigations. Investigates serious or reportable accidents and take action to eliminate
accident causes.
• Follow and communicate internal HSE policies and practices; conduct hazard and risk assessments and suggest new recommendations
from these assessments.
• Provide regular written reports, as well as other HSE related results and updates to the management team.
• Conduct inspections to identify unhealthy or unsafe acts, conditions or application of work practices, and prepare written reports of
inspections with action plan for closure.

• University degree with 2-4 years of experience in HSE field including best practices, legislation, regulation, and guidelines.
• Very Good command of English Language.
• Competent in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills, ability to lead others and train others in a teamwork effort.
• Able to take decisions and act as a role model regarding HSE.
